Friday Trip: Bologna

Friday, April 15
Meeting point: Venice, Railway Station at 8:15 a.m.

The Museum of Industrial Heritage is located in the renovating building of a former furnace. In the last century this area was characterize by the presence of several factory and the first power station of the city. The museum hosts a varied collection of models, machinery and technical and scientific instruments which allow to retrace the fundamental stages of Industrial Revolution.

This trip is mandatory for all students enrolled in S1625 Management of the Industrial and Crafts Heritage so the costs will be sponsored by VIU.
For other students and professors the cost is 24.30 euro round.

Program:

8:15 a.m. – meeting at Venice Railway Station

10:40 a.m. – arrival at Bologna Train Station

11:30 a.m. – guided visit to museum of Industrial Heritage

12:30 a.m. – estimated time for the end the visit

The film is set in the small village of San Martino. In the summer of 1944, in the middle of World War II and the Resistance, the Nazis forces assemble the village’s inhabitants inside the city’s church. Sensing a trap, the farmer Galvano, with a group of people, runs off to meet the allied forces arriving from the south.
