Visit to the Guggenheim Museum

Two English speaking guides will show us the Collection.
This activity is compulsory for the course “History of Venice”. While students of this course will not have to face the cost of ticket entrance, students from other courses will be asked to provide 3,00 €. If you would like to participate, please sign in the list which will be available at the Front Office by Wednesday 25th at 4 pm. The meeting point is at 9.30 am at boat stop Accademia.
Sport Tournament at San Servolo Fields

Sport Tournament
Everybody is invited to take part to the “Sport Tournament” where you can challenge your mates in three different sports: Volleyball, Basketball and Football (Soccer).
We would love to organise together with you the sport tournament at the sports fields on VIU Campus, next to the canteen. We are going to set up a Mini-Triathlon dedicating half hour for each sport: Football, Basketball and Volleyball. You can play in all three matches or just one or two. Please sign in the list you will find on the door of corridor 9. Teams will be co-ed and set up at the field according to the preferences expressed.

Visit to the Angola Pavilion (Golden Lion Winner)

Visit to the Angola Pavilion of the Biennale and book presentation
The Angola Pavilion is the 2013 winner of the Golden Lion for Best National Participation at the Venice Biennale.
You will be guided through the pavilion by the curator himself. It will follow the presentation of the book “Un ponte lungo quattro secoli” by Giuseppe Mistretta (the Italian Ambassador in Angola) which explores the relationship between the two countries from the XVII century to nowadays. The number of participants is limited, therefore if you would like to participate in this activity, please sing in the list that you will find on the door of the classroom corridor from Monday. The participation is free of charge. The meeting point is at the S.Zaccaria boat stop (Number 20) at 5 p.m.
