A special Tintoretto’s tour held by film director Dagmar Knöpfel

 

This activity is part of the courses: The Stones of Venice and the Seven Lamps of Architecture, Fashion and Modernity (Prof. Vinken) and Gender Studies (Prof. Trappolin/Paolieri)

Please remember to wear comfortable shoes, as mainly of the routes will be covered without boats, and to bring with you a packed lunch!

Detailed Program

9.15 am, room 9A	Screening of the documentary on Tintoretto. Film director Dagmar Knöpfel will be giving a short presentation before the screening, and a short debate will follow.
10.50 am	Boat from San Servolo to San Zaccaria
11.00-11.30  11.30-12.00 am  12.15 – 12.45 am	Route to Tiziano’s house behind Campo della Carità, Campo del Tiziano 5183 Route to Chiesa della Madonna dell’Orto + Tintoretto’s house, Fond.ta Mori, 3399 Tour of the Madonna dell’Orto church
12.45 am – 1.15 pm	Lunch break in Campo del Ghetto
1.45 pm -2.15 pm	Visit to San Polo church
2.30 pm – 3.15 pm	Visit to Scuola Grande di San Rocco
3.15 – 3.45 pm	Route to San Basilio boat stop
4.00 pm	Visit to the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore
